Harp, ghosts and tragic deaths

That's my blouse! XD Looks like an evil monster, doesn't it.

BOO. A ghost took this photo for us. Hahas nah joking.

My brother is such a devil.

I forgot to add in the concert post that Jian Sheng burped in my face! Argh. He was talking to me halfway during the concert and I was facing him, when he suddenly burped. Gross! Lol, hahas. It was quite funny though, we had a laugh over it.

Some serious mistake at 0:32 :( I still can't play this song perfectly.

Anyway I'm gonna talk about ghosts again!
You know all those times when people talk about feeling this weird sensation which includes them being in paralysis and feeling like something heavy and pushing them down? Like there's a ghost lying on top of you. A few of my friends have told me of experiencing this before.

There's a medical explanation for this. It's called sleep paralysis. (A similar type is cataplexy)
Watch the video below to find out what cataplexy is. You know when people laugh really hard and get very high? Some people go weak in the whole body and collapse in such situations.

Now for sleep paralysis! But the guy's account is rather creepy. Watch it to the end.

So now you guys know. Most sleep paralysis cases last for just a minute or so, but they seem to stretch into eternity. My dad told me about this. And in case you guys are gonna say: "Aiyoh cos he doesn't believe in it mah.", he DOES believe in ghosts!

My dad used to play the ghost game, called die2 xian1 in chinese, and he said it works. In fact, the spirit he and his classmates summoned (at the young and ignorant ages of 10 & 11) gave him very accurate answers of his future. When asked what job my father would work in when he grew up, the spirit answered 'doctor'. And that's what he is today! But of course maybe it's my dad who was affected by the spirit's answer.

I can't believe they actually could play the game at the young ages of 10 & 11. I'm 14 and I haven't even seen the chart of the game. My dad still remembers how to draw it, he snorted and said it was super easy but refused to teach me.

The game's instructions are that you have to place your finger on this coin or tray and it'll move around the signs and letters or chinese characters on the charts to give you the answers you request for. And no matter what, you cannot let go, you have to send the spirit back before you let go. Scary huh? My dad and his classmates all freaked out after a while and siam-ed before sending the spirit back. Fortunately it was a good one and didn't seek revenge on them. From the questions they asked about the spirit and the replies he gave, the figured he was their neighbour, a poor guy who was killed in a car accident.

Talking about that poor guy, or spirit as he is now, his family has now at least 3 tragic deaths. This poor guy's brother-in-law didn't get along well with his wife (poor spirit's sister) and they were probably on the verge of divorce, quarelling daily. What happened in the end is really sad and shocking. He forced their only son to consume pesticide, killing him, then killing himself as well in despair. I can imagine the helplessness he felt that drove him to do such a thing. His wife was really young when this happened, I pity her.

My dad says she's probably already remarried now.
